Friday, March 27th, 2009 was my last day at the day job!  Never thought that this day would ever arrive.  My family has been very supportive of me over the years and when I got home this day, my wife asked me to go out to the shop and get her a screwdriver.  As I opened the door and walked in, this is what I saw!

Blew me away!!  I had been working on some solid oak raised panel doors for the foyer in the back portion of our home and had opened up the overhead door that separates my woodshop from the adjoining two car garage.  The view above is looking from inside the shop and into that garage.  Check out the sign above my head.  Makes a person feel real good that someone besides yourself is happy for you.

Check out the photos below......might give you some hints to how all this happened.
Wife (Carolyn) caught doing the decorating
My wife Carolyn helping to do the "surprised" decorating job in the woodshop.  Love that gal!
Oldest Daughter
Daughter (Dawn) caught doing some more damage
A shot of my oldest daughter Dawn thinking about where she could do the most damage!
Son-In-Law &
Youngest Daughter
Son-In-Law (Michael) helping to decorate the shop
Looks like my Son-In-Law Michael is up to mischief don't you think?  And what's my youngest daughter Carmen doing back there?

Anyway..... All said and done, I'm truly Ol' Dave now"  Does that mean I'm officially retarted?  You answer that question!
